The Digital Place-Based Advertising Association (DPAA) has named three digital out-of-home executives as recipients of its 2026 Leading Women in Digital Media Awards, the trade group announced.
The awards will be presented October 13 at the DPAA Global Video Everywhere Summit at Pier Sixty in New York City. According to DPAA, the ceremony will be hosted by Erin Lichy, a cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City and co-founder and chief marketing officer of Mezcalum, alongside DPAA President and CEO Barry Frey.
The 2026 honorees are Amanda Mack, national account director for DOOH and point-of-care media at Innovare Media, who receives the Rising Star Award; Gabby Stoller, chief revenue officer at Big Happy, who receives the Unsung Hero Award; and Alice Gogh, chief growth officer at Captivate, who receives the Vanguard Award.
DPAA says a panel of industry leaders selected the winners based on leadership, innovation, collaboration and contributions to the DOOH sector. The release does not detail the panel's membership or the criteria weighting behind each award category.
Part of a broader initiative
The awards sit under WE.DOOH, DPAA's women's empowerment initiative launched in 2018. The program is described by DPAA as offering mentorship, executive training, networking events and educational resources aimed at helping women advance careers in digital media. The organization says it has expanded the initiative's international reach since launch, supporting women across media, technology, sales, operations and executive leadership roles.
For operators and vendors in the place-based media and digital signage world, the award names are a useful signal of who is currently shaping account strategy and growth at DOOH-focused companies like Innovare Media, Big Happy and Captivate. Point-of-care media, a category Mack works in, continues to be an active vertical within DOOH, alongside retail, transit and out-of-home networks more broadly.
This year's summit carries the theme "Real Connections," according to DPAA, though the announcement does not elaborate on the summit's broader agenda, speaker lineup or other sessions beyond the awards ceremony itself. The release also does not specify how many nominees were considered for each award or how the program has grown in scale since 2018.
The Global Video Everywhere Summit is one of DPAA's recurring industry gatherings, bringing together advertisers, media owners and technology providers active in digital out-of-home and place-based advertising.
