Folaida Launches $1,000 4x4 4K60 Video Wall Processor

Chinese ProAV manufacturer Folaida has released a 4x4 HDMI video processor priced at $1,000, aimed at smaller video wall and multi-screen installations. The FLD-HDMI-0404-4K60 is the entry-level model in a processor range that scales up to 48x48 configurations, giving integrators a single product family to spec across projects of different sizes.
For operators running smaller deployments, such as a single video wall in a lobby, control room, or retail space, the price point matters. Video wall processors have traditionally been a line item that pushes smaller projects over budget, so a sub-$1,000 4K60 unit lowers the bar for adding wall processing to jobs that might otherwise use a basic splitter or a single display.
Folaida is also selling a 4K30 version of the same 4x4 unit for $600. According to the company, that model is meant for dashboards, presentations, and other largely static content where full 60Hz motion handling is not needed.
