Hikvision consolidates displays, LED, audio and management tools into ProAV line

Hikvision has repackaged its display, interactive, audio and management-software lines under a single banner called Hikvision ProAV, according to the company. The move does not introduce new hardware but restructures how existing product lines are sold and supported, which matters to integrators and operators who currently buy Hikvision LED and interactive gear as separate line items.
The portfolio spans four areas: unified management platforms, LED displays and control, WonderHub interactive displays, and professional and commercial audio.
On management, Hikvision points to two existing platforms rather than a new one. HikCentral handles centralised, on-premises device management, while HikMedio moves some of that functionality to the cloud. Hikvision says the two together cover device monitoring, configuration, content creation, scheduling and publishing across single or multi-site deployments. For signage operators running networks across several locations, this is the part of the announcement most likely to affect day-to-day operations, since it determines how screens get updated and monitored.
The LED and display piece groups together Hikvision's LED panels, LED and video wall controllers, and related software for signal control and multi-screen management. WonderHub, Hikvision's interactive display line, is positioned for classrooms, training rooms and enterprise meeting spaces, with the release noting the wider WonderHub range also covers other commercial visual communication uses. Audio covers sound reinforcement, conferencing and background music systems.
Hikvision's pitch is that because these products are developed in-house, integrators can source displays, control systems, interactive panels and audio from one supplier instead of stitching together kit from several vendors. Wenson Zhou, product marketing director at Hikvision, said the bigger challenge on AV projects is usually not any single product but coordinating the different elements involved, and that ProAV is meant to help partners manage that complexity.
For operators evaluating suppliers, the announcement is largely about procurement and support structure rather than new capability. It does not mention new hardware specifications, pricing, or availability dates, and it does not say whether HikCentral and HikMedio will be merged or kept as separate tools going forward. It also does not address how ProAV compares on price or feature depth with rival unified offerings from other display and CMS vendors, something integrators weighing a switch will want to ask about directly.
What the announcement does confirm is a single go-to-market identity for Hikvision's AV-related product lines, which could simplify vendor conversations for integrators who already use multiple Hikvision products but have been treating them as unrelated purchases.
