Invidis Announces VIP Digital Signage Tour Ahead of Infocomm India
2026-08-03 · via invidis

Invidis is organising a pre-convention VIP tour of India's digital signage market ahead of Infocomm India, giving industry executives a look at a market the company describes as one of the fastest growing globally, on both the supply and demand side.
The tour runs Monday to Tuesday, 14-15 September, in Mumbai, with individual arrival recommended on the Sunday. Infocomm India itself, including the invidis Digital Signage summit, follows Wednesday to Friday, 16-18 September. Invidis suggests the Sofitel or Trident BKC hotels, both opposite the Jio Convention Centre where Infocomm India takes place.
According to the announcement, the tour includes visits to Jio Platforms, the market leader described as a subsidiary of Reliance, India's largest private enterprise with 124bn USD in annual revenue. Participants will also visit an unnamed Indian LED manufacturer that invidis positions as an alternative to China-made LED, and see examples of Indian digital signage deployment including what the release calls the social tree, roadside DOOH and large-scale retail signage and retail media installations.
Invidis frames the trip as a chance for a small group of EMEA-based digital signage executives to meet counterparts in the Indian market and see live deployments rather than trade show booths. Cost for the tour is 500 EUR per person, covering transport, meals and drinks. Access to Infocomm India and its digital signage programme is separately free of charge. Interested parties are asked to register with invidis Events by 15 August.
For operators and suppliers watching India as a growth market, this is a networking and market-access opportunity rather than a product or technology launch. The announcement does not name the LED manufacturer, give attendee numbers, or specify what commercial outcomes invidis expects from the tour. Readers considering India expansion, sourcing LED there as a China alternative, or selling into retail media should treat this as a chance to get first-hand exposure ahead of the wider Infocomm India event.
