UK-based AV and digital integration firm IUF has struck a partnership with Pattison ID that gives it access to manufacturing and installation capacity across Canada and the US, opening a route into the North American stadium and arena market.

The deal lets IUF draw on Pattison ID's six manufacturing facilities and its installation teams in the region to deliver large-scale projects. According to the announcement, the companies are targeting stadiums, arenas, conference centers and other large venues, with work potentially covering LED displays, digital signage, IPTV, menu boards and fan-facing digital experiences.

For operators and venue owners, the practical effect is a single contact point that combines UK-honed venue design experience with established US and Canadian manufacturing and field installation. That matters in a market where sourcing LED and signage hardware domestically, and having local crews available for install and ongoing support, often decides whether a large venue project stays on schedule.

IUF CEO Josh Bunce said the partnership gives clients "a seamless journey from strategy and design through to delivery and long-term performance, all through a single partner." Pattison ID president Marco Calabretta-Duval said IUF brings digital, creative, technology and software capabilities that complement Pattison ID's existing branded-environment business.

Building on a European track record

IUF's pitch rests on its recent European venue work, including projects at the O2 Arena Belfast, First Direct Arena in Leeds and AO Arena Manchester, along with client relationships with the NBA, the England and Wales Cricket Board, and Manchester City FC. Those credentials are aimed squarely at North American venue operators who want a track record before committing to a stadium-scale rollout.

Pattison ID, which the announcement describes as a specialist in branded physical environments with a workforce of nearly 1,000, gains a digital and software partner to pair with its manufacturing scale. That fills a gap for a company whose core strength has been physical fabrication rather than content management, IPTV or fan-experience software.

What the announcement does not say is which specific venues or teams are already signed, what the financial terms of the partnership are, or how quickly IUF expects to open a formal North American office or hire locally. It also does not specify whether IUF will bring its own CMS and software stack into these projects or integrate with systems Pattison ID or venue clients already use.

The move adds IUF to a growing list of European integrators using manufacturing partnerships rather than acquisitions to enter the US and Canadian large-venue market, a path that lets them scale deployment capacity without building factories from scratch.
