Midwich Sets Tech Xpo 2026 for October at Ascot, Signage Vendors Among Exhibitors
2026-10-03 · via DailyDOOH
Midwich has confirmed its Tech Xpo event will run October 21-22, 2026 at Ascot Racecourse, with more than 60 exhibitors booked in and Samsung Electronics and Hikvision returning as headline sponsors. For anyone managing a digital signage estate, the event is one of the larger UK trade gatherings where AV distribution, display hardware and management software vendors show up in one place.
According to the announcement, supporting sponsors include Biamp, Epson, LG Electronics, Neat, BrightSign, Legrand | AV, B-Tech AV Mounts, Sony, Logitech, Mersive Technologies and iiyama International. Midwich says detail on what Samsung, Hikvision, B-Tech, Logitech, Mersive and iiyama will actually show is still to come, so the signage-specific content from those names is not yet public.
Of the confirmed exhibitors, BrightSign is the one most directly aimed at signage operators. Midwich says BrightSign will demonstrate sensor-driven interactivity, edge AI, remote device management and synchronised display experiences, pitched at organisations running large, distributed networks who want to cut the operational load of managing multiple sites. That is a fairly standard pitch for the player market at this point, but worth watching for specifics once the company confirms its actual stand content closer to the date.
LG Electronics is positioning its presence around webOS, all-in-one LED and Procentric, with a stated focus on retail and hospitality display ecosystems, content management, energy efficiency and operating costs. Sony is bringing its S Series Crystal LED, A Series SRG cameras and P-Series 4K professional displays, aimed according to the release at corporate, education, retail and stadia customers trying to get more out of limited budgets and space.
The rest of the confirmed sponsor list leans toward wider workplace and collaboration AV rather than pure signage: Biamp's Devio UCX and Workplace Control, Neat's meeting room hardware and device management tools, and Legrand | AV's mounting, power and networking lineup including Chief Forum Floor mounts and Middle Atlantic Intelligent Power for remote monitoring of installed estates.
Rachel Curson, experience and events manager at Midwich UK&I, is quoted in the release saying customers are asking harder questions about time savings, complexity, sustainability and long-term value, and that the event is meant to let buyers see products working rather than reading a brochure.
The announcement does not specify attendee numbers from previous years, floor plan details, or which specific new signage products will debut. Registration is described as free, with a link provided in the original release. Operators evaluating player, mounting or display refreshes for 2027 budgets may find it a useful stop once the remaining sponsor details land.

This year’s Tech Xpo , Midwich’s flagship event, will take place at Ascot Racecourse on 21-22 October 2026.
With tighter budgets, stretched resources and increasing pressure to demonstrate ROI, technology investment is under greater scrutiny than ever. At Tech Xpo 2026 visitors will be able to see how the latest technology is helping organisations tackle these challenges, from smarter workplaces and connected displays to AI, digital signage and more manageable AV estates.
More than 60 exhibitors will be showcasing their latest technologies and solutions at this year’s event, giving visitors the opportunity to see new products and live demonstrations, while speaking directly with the companies behind the technology about how their solutions could support upcoming customer projects.
Headline sponsors Samsung Electronics and Hikvision will return for this year’s event, alongside Biamp, Epson, LG Electronics, Neat, BrightSign, Legrand | AV, B-Tech AV Mounts, Sony, Logitech, Mersive Technologies and iiyama International as supporting event sponsors.
Biamp will showcase Devio UCX and Workplace Control, demonstrating how bringing more of the workplace experience together in a single ecosystem can help reduce complexity across projects involving multiple technologies, suppliers and platforms.
Epson will demonstrate its EB-XQ2030B, a 30,000-lumen 4K projector combining high-impact performance with a compact, lightweight chassis. Visitors will be able to explore how projection can support applications ranging from visitor attractions and live events to immersive rooms, mapped surfaces and simulation, offering flexibility where traditional displays cannot provide the required scale or format.
LG Electronics will focus on technologies including webOS, all-in-one LED and Procentric, exploring how connected display ecosystems can support more engaging retail and hospitality experiences while helping organisations address content management, energy efficiency and operational costs. AI-powered displays and sustainability will also form part of the conversation.
Neat will focus on meeting equity and reducing friction in hybrid collaboration, with demonstrations of the Neat Center Companion and the Neat Board and Neat Bar portfolio. Neat Pulse and Neat Open will also feature, giving visitors the opportunity to explore approaches to central device management, monitoring and flexible workflows.
For organisations managing large and distributed digital signage estates, BrightSign will demonstrate sensor-driven interactivity, practical edge AI, remote device management and synchronised display experiences. The showcase will explore how signage can respond to audiences in real time while allowing teams to manage networks centrally and reduce the operational burden associated with maintaining multiple sites.
Legrand | AV will demonstrate its wider ecosystem spanning mounting, power, networking and collaboration technology. Its showcase will include Vaddio SpeakerVIEW intelligent camera tracking, Chief Forum Floor mounting solutions for large displays, Middle Atlantic Intelligent Power for remote monitoring and energy optimisation, and Luxul networking for modern AV-over-IP environments.
Sony will showcase its new S Series Crystal LED, A Series SRG cameras, P-Series 4K professional displays and new all-in-one technology. The solutions are designed to address the need for customers to make better use of their available budget, space and technology, with applications across corporate environments, education, retail and stadia.
Rachel Curson , experience and events manager at Midwich UK&I, told us “Customers are asking increasingly challenging questions about the technology they invest in. They want to know how it will save time, reduce complexity, improve experiences, support sustainability goals and deliver value long after installation. Tech Xpo is an opportunity to move those conversations beyond the brochure. Visitors can see the technology in action, meet the people behind it and discuss how these solutions could apply to real customer projects.”
More detail from Samsung Electronics, Hikvision, B-Tech AV Mounts, Logitech, Mersive Technologies and iiyama International will be announced soon.
