Nanolumens Adds Corner Capability, Sub-3mm Outdoor Model to LED Lines

Nanolumens has added new configuration options to two of its existing LED video wall lines rather than launching new product families, a move aimed at customers who already use the Engage Pro or Performance Series and need them to fit more demanding installations.

The Engage Pro Series, an indoor configurable video wall line, now supports 90-degree corner builds. According to the company, this lets content wrap continuously around corners, columns and other architectural features, going beyond the flat or faceted curved configurations the line previously supported. For integrators working in lobbies, retail environments or other spaces with awkward geometry, that removes one more reason to reach for a custom LED solution instead of a standard product line.

On the outdoor side, the Performance Series cabinet-based line gets Nanolumens' first sub-3mm pixel pitch model, along with high-brightness options for select models. The company says the tighter pixel pitch supports viewing distances of about 14 feet before individual pixels become distinguishable, which puts it in range for applications like building facades, transit hubs or plazas where viewers get closer to the display than a typical stadium or highway board.

Kurt DeYoung, Nanolumens' chief revenue officer, said in the release that the updates are meant to broaden installation conditions covered by each series without adding complexity, framing this as expanding options within product lines customers already know rather than introducing something new to evaluate from scratch.

What is missing

The announcement does not include pricing, exact pixel pitch figures beyond "sub-3mm," specific brightness numbers for the high-brightness Performance Series models, or a release date for availability. It also does not name any installations or customers using the new configurations yet.

Why it matters for operators

For signage operators and integrators already specifying Nanolumens hardware, these additions mean more flexibility without having to qualify a new vendor or product line. The corner capability in particular addresses a common pain point: architectural features that do not fit neatly into flat or curved video wall geometry. The outdoor pixel pitch upgrade pushes Performance Series into closer-viewing applications that previously might have required a different outdoor LED product, either from Nanolumens or a competitor.

Buyers will still need to get pricing and lead times directly from Nanolumens or its dealer network, since none of that is in the release.

Nanolumens, a manufacturer and designer of cutting-edge LED displays and video wall solutions, has expanded two of its configurable video wall lines; the Engage Pro Series and Performance Series.

The additions include 90-degree corner capabilities for Engage Pro Series and sub-3 mm pixel pitch and high-brightness options for select Performance Series outdoor models, according to a press release.

The corner capability allows Engage Pro to extend across adjoining surfaces, supporting continuous content around corners, columns and other architectural features beyond conventional flat or faceted curved video walls.

"The additions to the Engage Pro and Performance Series are focused on giving customers more options within product families they already know and appreciate," Kurt DeYoung, chief revenue officer for Nanolumens, said in the release. "The corner configurations for the Engage Pro Series allow indoor displays to work with more complex architecture, while the expanded Performance Series supports outdoor applications that require closer viewing or greater brightness. Together, these updates address a broader range of installation conditions without adding unnecessary complexity."

The Performance Series cabinet-based outdoor video wall line is expanding with Nanolumens' first sub-3 mm pixel pitch model. The new options support viewing distances of approximately 14 feet before individual pixels become distinguishable.
