PureLink and Clevertouch Partner to Validate Display and Connectivity Combos

PureLink and Clevertouch have entered a strategic partnership to test and validate combinations of their products for use in collaboration, education and digital signage installations, according to the companies.

Under the agreement, selected PureLink connectivity and signal management gear, including USB-C and videoconferencing products, will be regularly tested against Clevertouch's interactive displays. The stated goal is to give integrators and end customers confidence that the two companies' equipment works together reliably once installed, rather than leaving that verification to the integrator on site.

For anyone speccing digital signage systems, this is a compatibility and support play rather than a product launch. Neither company has announced new hardware as part of the deal. What changes is the paperwork: installers pairing a validated PureLink switcher or extender with a Clevertouch display should, in theory, spend less time troubleshooting signal or connectivity issues during commissioning, because the combination has already been checked by the vendors themselves.

What This Means for Operators

The announcement frames the benefit around reduced installation complexity and long-term operational reliability, PureLink's and Clevertouch's own words. That is a common pitch in AV right now, where large-format displays, signal distribution and control systems increasingly come from different manufacturers and integrators are left to make sure everything talks to each other. Formal interoperability testing between a display maker and a connectivity specialist is one way to reduce that risk, though it is worth noting this kind of validation partnership is not new in the AV industry generally.

Digital signage is named alongside collaboration and education as a target environment, but the release does not spell out which specific signage use cases or display sizes are covered, nor which PureLink product lines are involved beyond USB-C connectivity, signal management and videoconferencing tools. It also does not name specific Clevertouch display models being validated first, or give a timeline for when jointly tested configurations will be published or available to integrators.

Stephan Sloot, sales director at PureLink, is quoted saying reliable interoperability is essential for today's AV installations and that working with Clevertouch lets the company offer partners tested solutions that simplify deployment.

The companies say further jointly validated solutions will be introduced as the partnership develops, but no product roadmap or dates are given. For integrators currently working with either brand, the practical effect for now is limited: there is a partnership in place, but the specific validated configurations, and how customers will find out which combinations carry that stamp of approval, are not yet detailed.

By validating recommended product combinations, the companies aim to simplify system planning, reduce installation complexity and improve long-term operational reliability.

PureLink has entered into a strategic partnership with Clevertouch to deliver AV solutions for professional collaboration, education and digital signage environments.

The partnership combines Clevertouch’s interactive displays with PureLink’s USB-C connectivity, signal management, workplace connectivity and videoconferencing solutions.

Under the agreement, selected PureLink products will be regularly tested and validated with Clevertouch displays. This gives customers and integration partners greater confidence that connectivity, signal management and display technologies work together reliably in real-world installations.

The partnership also reflects both companies’ commitment to long-lasting, sustainable AV solutions by focusing on durable products, validated interoperability and dependable long-term performance.

Further jointly validated solutions will be introduced as the partnership develops.

Stephan Sloot, sales director at PureLink, said: “Reliable interoperability is essential for today’s AV installations. Working closely with Clevertouch enables us to offer our partners tested solutions that simplify deployment and provide greater confidence throughout every stage of a project.”
