Samsung has integrated Idomoo's AI video agent, Lucas, into its VXT content management system, giving operators a way to generate finished video content for digital signage from a text prompt. This matters for anyone responsible for keeping screens fresh, since video production has traditionally required either an agency, an editing budget, or in-house skills many signage teams do not have.

According to the companies, Lucas handles the entire video creation process rather than just generating raw footage. That includes scripting, animation and voiceover, which Samsung and Idomoo say sets it apart from other AI video tools that still require editing afterward. Users can also upload their own media, including turning static images into what Idomoo describes as cinematic footage, and save completed videos directly into VXT Canvas, Samsung's content workspace.

The pitch is speed and cost. Idomoo chief executive Yaron Kalish said creating high-quality video has historically been expensive and time consuming, and that the integration removes that bottleneck without requiring big budgets or long production timelines. Jonathan del Rosario, head of product for Samsung's display solutions division, framed the move as part of VXT's broader push to support operational efficiency and campaign delivery.

For operators already on VXT, this adds a content generation layer directly inside the platform they use to manage screens, rather than requiring a separate video tool and a manual upload step. That could appeal particularly to smaller retail, QSR or hospitality deployments that want to refresh menu boards, promotions or seasonal content without commissioning new video assets each time.

The announcement does not say pricing, whether Lucas is included in existing VXT licenses or sold as an add-on, or what usage limits apply. It also does not specify which VXT tiers or hardware get access, or how output quality compares to human-produced video at scale. Those details will matter to operators deciding whether this changes their content workflow or is simply a convenience feature.

The Lucas agent adds end-to-end video creation to VXT’s content management system, allowing users to turn a simple text prompt into an on-brand video on digital signage in minutes.

Idomoo’s AI video agent Lucas has launched on Samsung VXT, giving businesses the ability to generate ready-to-use videos inside their digital signage platform.

The integration adds end-to-end video creation to the Samsung VXT’s content management system, allowing users to turn a simple text prompt into an on-brand video in minutes.

Lucas reduces the cost and complexity of traditional video creation, allowing businesses to keep their digital content fresh and engaging.

No editing required Unlike other AI tools that generate raw footage that requires further editing, Lucas handles the entire process, including the script, animation and voiceover.

Users can upload their own media if desired, even turning static images into cinematic footage, and save their videos directly to VXT Canvas.

Jonathan del Rosario, head of product, display solutions division, at Samsung Electronics America, said: “Samsung VXT is built to evolve alongside dynamic business needs, from enhancing operational efficiencies to driving impactful campaigns.

“The integration of Idomoo’s Lucas AI Video Agent into our VXT platform builds on this mission, empowering customers to effortlessly produce high-quality video content.

“This collaboration marks a pivotal step in shaping the future of digital signage content creation.”

Idomoo chief executive Yaron Kalish added: “Digital displays are only as effective as the content they show, and creating high-quality video has historically been expensive and time consuming.

“This integration solves that bottleneck. You don’t need big budgets or months of production time to create incredible content. You just need an idea – and Lucas does the rest.”
