Statements Media Adds Digital Video Walls to Toronto's Green P Garages
2026-09-23 · via DailyDOOH
Statements Media has installed a network of large-format digital video walls inside Green P parking facilities across downtown Toronto, adding programmatic, day-parted advertising capability to a static ad network the company first built out in 2012.
The displays are LED units positioned near garage entrances and exits, with each panel covering more than 30 square feet of wall space, according to the company. Locations include Yorkville, the Financial District, Yonge & Eglinton, St. Lawrence Market and Sankofa Square. Statements Media says this is the first network of its kind in Canada aimed specifically at reaching vehicle owners in a city core.
Green P is run by the Toronto Parking Authority, which the release describes as North America's largest municipally owned commercial parking operator, handling more than 2 million transactions a month. TPA also manages Bike Share Toronto and what it calls Canada's largest municipal EV charging network. For Statements Media, the parking authority's footprint gives it a captive audience of drivers at controlled chokepoints, a location type that has become a recurring target for DOOH operators looking for dwell time and repeat exposure outside the usual retail and transit venues.
Adding the new screens brings the operator's total inventory in Green P locations to more than 160 faces, a mix that still includes posters, murals, backlit verticals and static dominations alongside the new digital units. That ratio matters for buyers and for anyone tracking how fast garage and parking media is converting from print to digital: static formats still make up the bulk of the network by face count, even as the digital rollout gets top billing in this announcement.
The company says the digital displays will support day-parting and dynamic creative and will be sold through programmatic platforms, which puts the network in line with standard DOOH ad-tech expectations rather than offering anything distinct on the buying side. The announcement does not name which programmatic platforms will carry the inventory, nor does it give specifics on screen resolution, player hardware or content management software behind the panels. It also does not disclose pricing, audience measurement methodology, or how many digital panels have been installed so far versus planned.
Statements Media says it plans to add more large-format digital panels in the downtown core over the coming year, suggesting this launch is a first phase rather than a completed build-out. For operators watching adjacent categories, parking garages join a growing list of transit-adjacent, high-frequency locations, alongside EV charging stations and bike share docks, that ad networks are treating as extensions of the same captive-audience logic that has driven digital signage into elevators, gas pumps and building lobbies.

Statement Media Launch In Toronto’s Green P Parking Facilities
Statements Media announced this week that it has launched a network of large-format digital video walls in prominent Green P parking facilities throughout Toronto.
Adam Watson , Managing Partner of Statements Media told us “These new displays represent the latest step in digitizing our premium out-of-home assets across the downtown core, providing clients all of the benefits that come with a digital format. Our clients are constantly asking for new ways to reach targeted audiences in environments where the ad units actually get noticed.”
We believe that this is the first network of its kind in Canada, dedicated to reaching vehicle-owners in the city’s core. Coverage includes neighbourhoods like Yorkville, the Financial District, Yonge & Eglinton, St. Lawrence Market and Sankofa Square.
These large, high-resolution LED displays are strategically positioned near entrances and exits, each covering over 30 square feet of wall space.
Green P is owned and operated by The Toronto Parking Authority, North America’s largest municipally owned operator of commercial parking, processing over 2 million parking transactions per month.
Statements Media first launched a network of static advertising units in Green P garages back in 2012. The new digital displays will bring the total number of available faces to over 160, including posters, murals, backlit verticals and static dominations.
The digital displays will support day-parting, dynamic creative and will be available on leading programmatic platforms. Statements Media will be adding additional large-format digital panels in the downtown core in the coming year.
Toronto Parking Authority (TPA) is North America’s largest municipally owned operator of commercial parking, manager of Bike Share Toronto, North America’s third largest bike share program and operates Canada’s largest municipal EV charging network. TPA’s vision is to become the world’s best provider of sustainable parking, bike share and last-mile mobility experiences for their customers, their partners, and their cities.
