Uniguest Retires Tripleplay, E-Stream and P-Care Names for Hub Branding

Uniguest is retiring three long-standing product names built through years of acquisitions. Tripleplay becomes Hub AV, E-Stream becomes Hub Media, and P-Care becomes Hub IPS, according to the company. For operators who have run these systems for years, the products themselves are not changing, only what appears on the box and in the sales deck.

The three platforms now sit inside Uniguest's broader Hub portfolio, which also includes the Digital Engagement Platform the company introduced when it relaunched Otrum under the Hub name at ISE 2025. Uniguest says the goal is to make it clearer to customers and partners how its technologies connect to each other, rather than presenting a set of separately branded tools that happen to share an owner.

This is a familiar problem for vendors that have grown by acquisition. Uniguest has assembled its portfolio through a series of purchases, most recently Visix, and each deal brought its own product name, support team and customer base. The 2024 launch of Hub as a cloud-based platform was Uniguest's first attempt to bring those disparate tools under one roof. This rebranding is described as the next step in that consolidation rather than a new product launch.

What changes and what does not

According to Uniguest, the changes are limited to branding. The underlying technology, product roadmaps and support teams stay the same. For operators, that means no forced migration, no new procurement process and, presumably, no change to existing contracts or integrations, though the announcement does not address contract terms or timelines for phasing out old collateral and documentation.

Under the new names, Hub AV covers IPTV, digital signage and video distribution for enterprise, hospitality and sports venues, the same territory Tripleplay occupied. Hub Media takes over E-Stream's role in media management, enterprise video and content delivery. Hub IPS replaces P-Care in interactive patient engagement systems for healthcare providers.

James Keen, Uniguest's EVP of marketing, said Tripleplay, E-Stream and P-Care had built strong reputations in their markets and that the company recognizes the trust tied to those names, even as it retires them in favor of the Hub identity.

For customers, the immediate practical question is how quickly sales materials, support documentation and licensing references switch over to the new names, and whether any confusion arises during the transition period. The announcement does not specify a timeline for that changeover beyond stating the new names are effective immediately. Partners and integrators who reference Tripleplay, E-Stream or P-Care in their own materials will need to update accordingly.

Tripleplay becomes Hub AV, E-Stream becomes Hub Media, and P-Care becomes Hub IPS as Uniguest consolidates its core technology platforms under a common identity.

The rebranding brings the three platforms into Uniguest’s broader Hub portfolio, alongside the Digital Engagement Platform introduced when the company relaunched Otrum under the Hub name at ISE 2025. By bringing its flagship platforms under a single identity, Uniguest aims to simplify its portfolio and make it clearer to customers and partners how its technologies fit together to deliver connected digital experiences.

Uniguest has built much of its technology portfolio through acquisitions including it’s recent acquistion of Visix , creating the challenge of bringing products developed by different companies under a more cohesive structure. The company took a major step in that direction in 2024 with the launch of Hub, which, as reported by invidis , brought previously separate digital engagement tools into a single cloud-based platform.

The changes are limited to branding, with Uniguest saying the underlying technology, product roadmaps and support teams will remain the same.

Under the new structure, Hub AV provides IPTV, digital signage and video distribution technology for markets including enterprise, hospitality and sports. Hub Media covers media management, enterprise video and content delivery, while Hub IPS focuses on interactive patient experiences for healthcare providers.

The broader Hub platform provides tools for managing and delivering digital experiences across hospitality and other environments.

“Tripleplay, E-Stream and P-Care have built incredibly strong reputations in their respective markets, and we recognize the trust and recognition associated with those names,” said James Keen, EVP of marketing at Uniguest. “While those names are changing, the technology, expertise and relationships behind them remain.”

The rebranding is the latest step in Uniguest’s effort to simplify a portfolio that has expanded through acquisitions and product development. The new names are effective immediately.
