X-Twenty Secures Exclusive UK Distribution for MeetWise Workplace Platform

2026-10-21 · via DailyDOOH

X-Twenty has taken exclusive UK rights to MeetWise, a workplace platform that puts meeting room scheduling, desk booking, reception management and analytics under one system rather than the three or four separate tools many offices currently run. The deal matters to anyone managing signage estates in offices, because MeetWise leans heavily on physical displays to do the job: a room panel, a desk beacon and a reception kiosk, all tied to one back end.

The product itself is a familiar shape for signage integrators. Outside each meeting room, a panel called BEAM shows the live schedule, with LED edge lighting that signals room availability down the corridor. At desks, a device called the O.R.B. shows whether a spot is free, occupied or waiting to be cleaned. At reception, a self-service kiosk checks in visitors, alerts the host and prints a badge. According to X-Twenty, one portal runs all three.

The company is positioning reception as the differentiator. Room booking is a crowded category in the UK, but knowing who is actually in the building, and who let them in, is usually handled by a separate product or a sign-in book. Rob Brinklow, General Manager at X-Twenty, said that gap kept coming up with customers and that answering booking, occupancy and visitor management from one system, with the option to keep data on site, is what won the company over.

MeetWise integrates with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Exchange, or runs its own booking engine where there is no corporate calendar in place. The release says bookings at the panel continue if the network goes down and sync once connectivity returns, a detail that matters for any deployment spread across multiple floors or buildings.

On the reporting side, the portal tracks utilisation by room, floor and building, flags meetings that end early and rooms booked but never used, and identifies desks nobody claims. For organisations under pressure to justify office space, that data collection happens automatically rather than through manual building walks, according to the companies.

MeetWise also offers an AI add-on called Synapse, which records meetings and produces a transcript, summary and mind map, billed by the minute on the same contract as the hardware.

MeetWise says it has delivered more than 150 projects for 55 customers worldwide and has grown 90 percent over three years, though the release does not break out UK figures or name specific customers. Joe Rabah, CEO of MeetWise, said X-Twenty's channel relationships and end-to-end delivery, from site survey through installation and lifecycle support, made it the right partner for the UK rollout.

For integrators and AV consultants already working with X-Twenty, this adds a workplace-analytics product to the catalogue that bundles signage hardware with a subscription-based software and data layer. The announcement does not disclose pricing, installation timelines, or whether MeetWise hardware is proprietary or built on third-party panels and kiosks.

X-Twenty Takes Exclusive UK Rights To MeetWise

X-Twenty has secured the exclusive rights to bring MeetWise to the United Kingdom. The platform is available immediately, direct and through X-Twenty’s channel of AV partners and consultants. For UK businesses it brings meeting rooms, desks, reception and workplace analytics onto one platform, rather than the three or four separate systems most estates run today.

Outside every meeting room, the MeetWise BEAM panel displays the room schedule in real time, and wrap-around LED illumination signals availability from the far end of the corridor. On the desk, a beacon called the O.R.B. (Occupancy & Reservation Beacon) shows whether a desk is available, taken or waiting to be cleaned. At reception, a self-service kiosk expects the visitor, tells the host the moment they arrive and prints the badge. One portal runs all of it.

Reception is the part most systems leave out. Booking a room is well served in this market. Knowing who is in the building and who authorised them is usually a separate product, a separate contract, or a paper book on a desk.

Rob Brinklow , General Manager, X-Twenty told us “Most buildings can tell you what was booked. Far fewer can tell you what happened in the room, or who came through the front door that morning. That is the gap we kept running into with customers, and answering all three from one system, with the option to keep the data inside the building, is what persuaded us.”

MeetWise works with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Exchange, and can run its own booking engine for sites with no corporate calendar. Bookings carry on at the panel if the network drops and reconcile when the line comes back.

The portal behind it reports on how the estate is used. Utilisation by room, by floor and by building, meetings that end early, rooms booked and never occupied, and the desks nobody claims. For a business being asked to justify the space it pays for, that is the evidence, and nobody needs to walk the building to collect it.

The same platform reaches into the meeting itself. Synapse is the AI layer, recording a meeting and returning a transcript, a summary and a mind map. It runs on the same platform and the same contract as the rooms, desks and reception, available as an add-on and charged by the minute.

MeetWise has delivered more than 150 projects for 55 customers worldwide and has grown 90 per cent over the past three years.

“The UK workplace technology market is sophisticated, and selecting the right partner was essential,” said Joe Rabah , Chief Executive Officer of MeetWise. “X-Twenty brings exceptional expertise, deep channel relationships and end-to-end technical delivery, from site survey through deployment and lifecycle support. Their model ensures partners and enterprise clients receive a fully supported solution.” X-Twenty surveys the estate, designs the deployment, installs it, trains the people who will use it and supports it afterwards. Rooms, desks and reception, on one contract, with one number to call.
