Yodeck Adds AI Layout Generator and Multi-Level Content Scheduling

Yodeck has rolled out a batch of updates to its digital signage platform, headlined by an AI-driven layout generator and a new tool for guaranteeing airtime across multi-location brand hierarchies. The changes matter most for operators managing large networks with multiple stakeholders, and for smaller teams who want to build screens faster.
The biggest addition is Magic Layout, a feature that generates two editable screen layouts from a text prompt. According to Yodeck, users can describe the screen they want and optionally supply media, a logo, orientation and brand colors, then refine the results in the existing Layout Editor. The company says Magic Layout is available on all plans but comes with a monthly generation allowance, meaning it is not unlimited use. Yodeck's release notes do not specify what that allowance is or how it scales by plan tier, which operators evaluating the feature will want to check before relying on it for regular design work.
For larger organizations, Yodeck introduced Content Flows, aimed at solving a familiar problem for franchise and multi-site networks: how to guarantee corporate or brand content gets airtime while still letting regional and local teams fill the remaining loop. The feature allows configurable airtime per level, supporting hierarchies up to five levels deep, all merged into a single playlist. This is restricted to Enterprise and Enterprise Plus plans, positioning it as a tool for larger deployments rather than single-screen users.
Mobile and integrations
Yodeck also launched an installable version of its Portal, which can be added as an app on phones, computers or tablets without needing a browser tab open. The company says it offers full feature parity with the web version. This brings Yodeck in line with other CMS platforms that have moved toward app-based management for field technicians and store managers checking screens on the go.
On the internal communications side, Yodeck added support for Speakap, an employee communications platform, letting news, updates and events post directly to screens in either a visual or editorial layout with auto-refresh and custom branding. This is available on Premium and Enterprise plans and extends Yodeck's push into workplace and internal-comms use cases beyond retail and hospitality signage.
Smaller updates include unified login credentials for the Yodeck Community forum and an improvement to the Layout Editor that allows resizing multiple items at once instead of one at a time, a minor but practical fix for anyone building complex layouts manually.
