Yodeck Adds Microsoft Planner Integration and 30+ Content Apps
2026-08-02 · via Yodeck

Yodeck has rolled out a set of updates to its digital signage CMS aimed at pulling everyday business tools onto screens with less manual setup, according to the company's release notes.
The headline addition is Microsoft Planner Display, which lets operators show Planner boards, tasks and assignments directly on screens. Yodeck says the integration uses Microsoft API authentication and syncs automatically, meaning content managers no longer have to manually push updates when a board changes. The feature works across all player types, but the new API-based authentication is limited to Premium subscribers. Non-Premium accounts keep the older web-based version of the integration, so anyone wanting the automated sync will need to check which tier they're on.
Google Calendar integration has also been reworked. It now uses Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0) rather than the previous method, which Yodeck frames as a security and ease-of-use improvement for Google Workspace users. OAuth-based sign-in is a fairly standard move for CMS vendors handling third-party account data, and it typically means fewer credential-related support tickets for IT teams managing screens.
Content and Billing Additions
Yodeck says it has added more than 30 new content apps built on Screenfeed, covering AP News and Reuters headlines, local weather, flight data, financial information and wellness content. The company positions these for lobbies, offices, healthcare facilities and airports, though the release does not specify pricing tiers for individual apps or whether all 30-plus are bundled the same way.
A new Custom Feed App lets users build their own rotating content, such as quotes, trivia or company values, without needing a separate content source. This is available on Basic plans and above, making it one of the more accessible additions in this release compared to the Premium-gated Planner feature.
For larger deployments, Yodeck has introduced Billing Entities, letting organizations with multiple subsidiaries or business units manage separate billing, currency and tax details under one account. This is restricted to Enterprise and Enterprise Plus plans, and is aimed squarely at IT and finance teams overseeing multi-site or multi-brand screen networks rather than single-location operators.
Rounding out the update is a Playlist Preview Controls feature, which adds navigation controls to the playlist configuration page so users can step through content before publishing. Yodeck says this cuts down on guesswork about how a playlist will actually play out on screen.
The release notes do not mention pricing changes, rollout timing beyond the update itself, or whether any of these features require new hardware or player firmware.
