Zoney Launches Digital Signage Platform With Lifetime Subscription Model
2026-08-21 · via DailyDOOH
Zoney has come out of stealth mode with a digital signage platform combining cloud-based content management, a media player and a set of app integrations, according to the company. The launch adds another name to an already crowded CMS market, with a pricing model built around a one-time payment rather than the recurring subscription fees most competitors charge.
The company says its platform is meant to work for both single-location businesses and larger, multi-site networks, offering scheduling, real-time content updates and centralized management across locations. Todd Katcher, Zoney's Chief Product Officer, said the company spent time building the product before going public, telling DailyDOOH it is "fast to deploy, easy to manage, and designed to scale with business growth."
What's in the launch
Zoney says its offering includes a cloud-based CMS for scheduling and multi-location management, along with what it calls a "lifetime subscription" that bundles a commercial-grade media player with unlimited content, zones, users, apps and integrations, and no monthly fee. That pricing structure sets Zoney apart from most established CMS vendors, which typically charge per-screen or per-user monthly or annual fees. The announcement does not say what the lifetime subscription costs, how the media player is priced separately, or what happens if a customer needs support or updates after the initial purchase.
The platform also includes app integrations Zoney describes as connecting screens to dashboards, news feeds, media and social content, though the release does not name specific partners or list which platforms are supported out of the box. For operators evaluating a new CMS, that is a meaningful gap: integration depth and reliability often matter more day to day than the headline feature list.
Zoney is also offering professional services covering rollout, installation, hardware procurement and content design for customers who want a turnkey deployment rather than managing the system themselves.
What operators should ask
The announcement leans on familiar language common to digital signage launches, promising to eliminate technical constraints and to be simple enough for one screen but powerful enough for enterprise networks. Those are claims made by Zoney, not independently verified. The release does not mention screen count limits, player hardware specifications, uptime guarantees, or how the company handles firmware updates and security patching over time, all of which matter more once a network is live than at launch.
Zoney says it is now accepting new customers and partner inquiries, with pricing available on request. Anyone considering a switch or a first deployment will want those specifics, along with references from existing customers, before committing to a lifetime-fee model from a newly launched vendor.
